This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we protect it and the rights you have.
In these pages, "Caecilians", "we", "us" and "our" mean Caecilians Technologies Pvt Ltd, 2,41/13/PMR/5th Floor, Melkiors Pride, HITEX, Izzath Nagar, Khanamet, Hyderabad, Telangana — 500081, India, together with its US company CAECILIANS INFO TECH SOLUTIONS LLC, 7901 4th Street North, STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA.
1. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the website:

Like every website, our hosting servers automatically record basic technical information — your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — in short-lived server logs used for security and to keep the website running.
2. How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss your project or requirement;
- to review job applications and contact candidates about roles;
- to send proposals, contracts and invoices once you engage us;
- to protect the website from misuse, fraud and attacks;
- to meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Consent and legal basis
We process your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and for legitimate uses allowed by law (such as meeting legal obligations). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
4. Who we share it with
- Within our group — between Caecilians Technologies Pvt Ltd (India) and CAECILIANS INFO TECH SOLUTIONS LLC (USA), only to handle your request.
- Clients — if you apply for a role, we share your CV with a client only after discussing the opportunity with you.
- Service providers — our web hosting and email providers, who store data for us under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities — when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and client correspondence: as long as needed to deal with your request, and up to 3 years afterwards for business records.
- Job applications and CVs: up to 2 years, so we can contact you about suitable roles — unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security, then deleted.
- Records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are kept for the period the law requires.
6. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption. Uploaded files are stored in protected folders that cannot be opened from the web, access is limited to authorised staff, and our systems use passwords, security checks and regular updates. No system is perfectly secure, but we act quickly and will inform you and the authorities as the law requires if a breach affects your data.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- Access — ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correct or update it if it is wrong or incomplete;
- Erase it when it is no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent;
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India;
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.

8. Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
The website stores one small setting in your browser — whether you chose the light or dark theme — so it looks the same on your next visit. This setting stays on your device and is never sent to us. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts; when it does, your browser connects to Google's servers, which may see your IP address.
9. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, email us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Because we have teams and clients in India and the USA, your data may be handled in either country. We only transfer it where the law allows, and we protect it in the same way wherever it is held.
11. Copyright & misuse of our content
The content, design, code and brand of this website are protected by copyright and trademark law. Copying, scraping or misusing them — or trying to access our systems or data without permission — is an offence under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 in India, and under US copyright law, with penalties that include fines and imprisonment.

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Important changes will be highlighted on the website.
